This nationally accredited course is designed to provide individuals who require the skills and qualifications to investigate and monitor statutory compliance with legislation, regulations, and policy for federal, state and local government organisations. NOTE: The Australian Government Investigations Standards (AGIS) 2022, states this qualification is the minimum level of training or qualification recommended for Government Investigations staff and should be obtained before an officer is primarily engaged as an investigator. Local Laws and Compliance Officers benefit greatly from undertaking this qualification.

About the Facilitator: Andrew Patterson, Senior Investigations Trainer-Facilitator
Andrew Patterson is the National President of the Australian Institute of Professional Investigators and a is highly skilled professional investigator with over 30 years’ experience working across various investigative environments, including workplace disciplinary matters, corruption enquiries, and criminal investigations. He has conducted investigations, and associated training within local government, state public sector agencies, federal departments, and private sector organisations.
