Training is an annual requirement in the local government sector, which is why the LGAQ created its own Registered Training Organisation (RTO 30003).

Peak's training arm is here to provide councils and organisations with tailored and specialised training. Councils can choose from a broad range of courses tailored to each council’s requirements, including anything from eLearning and virtual training to short courses and fully accredited training programs.

Peak has more than 20 years experience supporting local government and organisations with their learning and development needs, and is committed to ensuring workforces are equipped to deliver the most effective services to their community and customers.

Peak offers a range of nationally recognised qualifications and non-accredited short courses to meet our customer's professional requirements and trainees' personal objectives. We are Queensland’s largest Registered Training Organisation (RTO: 30003)  specialising in local government training, with 5,450+ people attending our training sessions during 2024/25.
