With the Olympic Games on the horizon, councils will play a major role in delivering infrastructure, community programs, transport upgrades and local activation. Strong project management skills will be vital to ensure these initiatives are delivered efficiently, sustainably and in line with Games‑time expectations.
Our Diploma qualification is designed specifically for professionals working in local government who want to strengthen their skills across the full project lifecycle. Participants will build confidence and competence in:
- Scoping and defining projects.
- Managing timelines, quality, and cost
- Identifying and coordinating project human resources
- Recognising and mitigating project risks
- Managing procurement and stakeholder engagement

Delivered live online by Senior Project Management Trainer Mario Cortés, the program supports busy council officers through six theory days, followed by assessments to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
