NIAA Indigenous Advancement Strategy (IAS) – Local Investments Funding

The fund aims to supports urgent, small-scale local projects that address immediate community needs for First Nations people and align with IAS priorities and Closing the Gap targets.

ELIGIBLE PROJECT COSTS:

• Small-scale infrastructure including capital works and refurbishment
• Cultural activities (e.g. workshops, ceremonial openings, promotional tourism events)
• Co-contributions to larger projects including feasibility studies, mapping workshops and strategic planning
• Plant and equipment for community storesTraining resources or support for business commercialisation
