The theme is 'Psychosocial risk and compliance in Local Government – strengthening clarity and confidence in managing psychosocial risk'.

The program for our two-day masterclass includes:

  • QIRC Commissioner Pigeon - Neurodivergence in the Workplace / Tribunal and discussion on reasonable adjustments and recent cases.
  • Human Rights Commission - Unpacking emerging human rights principles and new regulatory powers.
  • Local Government Workplace - Examining claim data and assessment processes for psychological injuries.
  • Peak Services Legal - Exploring psychosocial obligation and the law.
  • Peak Services Recruitment - Psychosocial risk in the recruitment process.
  • LGAQ - Industry update.

Together with our partners Brighter Super and the LGAQ, we look forward to welcoming you at one of our four HR Masterclasses this year.

Day 1
9.00am – 4.00pm (AEST)
Networking event from 4.30pm
Morning tea, lunch, and networking drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Day 2
8.30am – 2.45pm (AEST)
Light breakfast, morning tea, and lunch will be provided.

Please note that these Masterclasses are only available to council officers, and State and Federal Government employees and are free to attend. Please use your workplace email address when registering (generic email addresses will not be accepted and will result in your registration being cancelled).
