We have come to the end of another successful HR Masterclass season!
Over the past six months, Peak Services, in collaboration with LGAQ, Brighter Super, SuperFriend, and special guests from the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission (QIRC), delivered three dynamic HR Masterclasses.
Each session spanned two days and brought together HR professionals from across Queensland to explore key topics including legislative changes, industrial relations and contract law, complex case management, and preparation for commission hearings.
These masterclasses provided a valuable opportunity for Council’s to deepen their understanding of the evolving HR landscape, share experiences, and strengthen their workforce strategies.
Brighter Super provided an update on its strong investment performance, including top rankings for its diversified options, a reduction in administration fees for members, and continued education support for Councils.

We were honoured to have two QIRC Commissioners attend our sessions to provide an insight on best practice advocacy. Hearing directly from the Commissioners, and gaining their perspective shaped by years of experience, was truly invaluable.
