Grow your own leaders: our local government qualifications start May

Grow your own Leaders

Providing staff with upskilling opportunities significantly increases employee retention and loyalty, as employees feel valued and supported in their career growth. Studies show that 94% of employees will remain with their employer when their development is supported.

Invest in your people and strengthen organisational capability with the choice of two Local Government qualifications commencing in May 2026.

These programs help councils 'grow their own', improve retention, and build a skilled workforce ready for the future.

In May 2026, we are launching two of our most popular qualifications:

PSP40416 Cert. IV in Government Investigations Regulatory Compliance

This certification equips individuals with the skills and knowledge to investigate and monitor statutory compliance across Federal, State and Local Government organisations. According to the Australian Government Investigations Standards (AGIS) 2022, this is the minimum recommended qualification for Government investigations staff before being primarily engaged as an investigator.

Local Laws and Compliance Officers benefit greatly from undertaking this qualification.
