Conditions of Entry
Peak Services ‘Butch Lenton Memorial Bush Council Innovation Award’ – Terms and Conditions of Entry
About the Award
The purpose of the award is to recognise innovation in Bush councils and play tribute to Butch’s legacy and the contribution he made to the Winton community and the sector overall.
Criteria
Only nominations that are deemed innovative by the judging committee will be accepted.
If one of the judging committee members is affiliated with a nomination (council) they will excuse themselves from judging that nomination.
Nominations must be received by the closing date of 31 August.
The bursary will be awarded at the LGAQ Annual Conference each year and showcased every second year at the Bush Councils Convention.
Please submit your applications via our website.
The Judges decision is final and cannot be contested.
The bursary is distributed through Peak Service’s Community Support program and paid directly to council (for both organisation and individual applications).

8. Peak Services and judging panel reserve the right to reject or disqualify a nomination, if in their sole discretion, the nomination is found at any stage not to have complied with these conditions of entry, information contained in the nomination is false or misleading, or the nomination brings the Awards into public disrepute or ridicule, or offends public opinion, or reflects unfavourably upon the Award’s reputation.

2. In submitting a nomination, the Nominee agrees to Peak Services using their personal information (including their name and image) and materials contained within the submission in connection with the Awards, to report on, publicise and promote the Awards, both now and in future years, including in print and online format, such as the Peak Services websites and social media channels.
